Sexy Fish Dubai is a Japanese restaurant in Dubai (DIFC), $$$$; open Mon–Fri 12:00–02:00; Sat 12:30–16:00, 18:30–02:00; Sun 18:00–02:00; book at https://www.sevenrooms.com/reservations/sexyfishdubai.
Japanese-inspired DIFC lounge where sushi, sparklers, and a DJ-led scene run late into the night. Sexy Fish sits on Level 11 of Innovation One in DIFC, with an underwater-themed room of mosaics, sculptures and a much-photographed bathroom. The Japanese menu covers sushi, sashimi, robata and tempura, with wagyu gyoza, black cod and yakitori among the standouts. Dinner runs late and the mood shifts from dining to party as the DJ sets build, so it suits a night out or a birthday more than a quiet meal. Expect a strict dress code.
